Deshawn Brown - Founder & CEO
Deshawn Brown is the Founder and CEO of Alpha Sports Group, a full-service athlete representation and business management company built for the modern era of college sports.
Before launching Alpha Sports, Deshawn worked in Division I college football recruiting and player personnel at Marshall University and Florida Atlantic University. His background covers recruiting operations, athlete evaluations, official visits, roster management, recruiting strategy, player personnel organization, and program branding, giving him firsthand experience with how college football programs recruit, evaluate, and build teams from the inside.
That insider perspective is what sets Alpha Sports apart. Deshawn has sat across the table from the coaches, the collectives, and the compliance offices. He knows how decisions get made and he uses that knowledge to protect athletes and their families at every stage of the process.
Since launching Alpha Sports, he has helped athletes secure opportunities at Power 4 programs, College Football Playoff schools, and top programs across all divisions. Alpha Sports athletes have generated millions of social media impressions and secured partnerships with brands across apparel, nutrition, lifestyle, and beyond.
Beyond athletics, Deshawn brings extensive business and operational leadership experience, overseeing staffing, finances, operations, and organizational management across multiple ventures.

Karissa Gainey - Director of Operations
Karissa Gainey serves as Director of Operations at Alpha Sports Group, overseeing the day-to-day systems, communications, and organizational infrastructure that keep the agency running at a high level. She works closely with athletes, families, and brand partners to ensure every touchpoint with Alpha Sports is handled with professionalism and care. Karissa is a key part of what makes the hands-on, direct-access model at Alpha Sports actually work.
